This wasn't a story about a crazed stalker, but about a man bound by duty and responsibility, unable to meet the person he cherished above all else, unable even to reveal his existence to her. A part of him yearned to abandon everything and be with her, but he knew that to protect her, to allow her to live her life freely, he had to remain hidden. His situation mirrored the moon's: both eternally separated from their beloveds, relegated to the vast, dark expanse of the sky, shining only faintly enough to be perceived, a silent testament to their existence.

This was their fate, a predetermined reality. Any attempt to defy these unspoken laws, to raise their voices against the established order, would bring swift and devastating retribution from the universe. Truth held no sway; only the palatable narratives, the comforting lies, were acceptable. The masses only wanted to hear what pleased them, rejecting any inconvenient truths.
